Volkswagen Golf TDI
April 21st 2010 06:31
Rather a blue shade of green don't you think, or perhaps like many men I am a bit colour blind, along with my many other deficiencies of course, but my darling wife loves me and Mother always tolerates me, so I've nothing to complain about down here on the farm.
The above little number has met with the approval of the Kelley Blue Book KBB for short for its environmentally friendly state.
This has been announced ahead of Earth Day.
Here's what KBB has to say:
"2010 Volkswagen Golf TDI (34/30/42): With its latest identity crisis in its mirrors, the Rabbit is once again the Golf and now offers a mileage-maxing clean diesel engine. The same diesel powertrain found in the Jetta TDI and Jetta Sportwagen TDI delivers 30% better fuel economy than its gasoline counterpart and a wallop of low-end torque that makes it even more fun."
so it's not all about batteries, is it?
