Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum is the place to go to see a fine collection of vintage cars, MG's have a big showing and The show will include a Chrysler Imperial and British models from Jaguar and Lotus Elan, to Bentley and Austin-Healy.
It's on now
Huntington Patch tells us:
William K. Vanderbilt II pioneered auto racing in the United States, established the Vanderbilt Cup Races, spurred the development of the American auto industry, and built the prototype for the first toll road, the Vanderbilt Motor Parkway on Long Island. In keeping with Vanderbilt's passion for automobiles and his seminal role in American automobile history, the museum has hosted car shows on its grounds for three decades.
that name, Vanderbilt still swings a punch doesn't it?
the who's who of vintages, watch out for me in about 30 years time.
