VINTAGE car meet in Italy
October 16th 2009 03:31
I was busy on the web trying to hunt down vintage cars suitable for my tiny collection when much to my surprise and delight I discovered this meet in Italy.
Apparently, according to the Boston Globe these fiats literally take over this little Italian town, they drive their vintage cars in as that is the only way the meet can be organized and what a spritely little collection they are.
Every vintage car owners dream.
Fiats, Lancias, and Alfa-Romeos featured but there were also such cars as a Rolls Royce, several Bentleys, a beautiful E-Type Jaguar and even a few American-built vehicles, including a pristine 1958 Corvette and several vintage military jeeps.
Just a couple of shots for you to make you drool.
Do you have dreams of owning a vintage or perhaps starting your own collection like mine, with its first lonely only vehicle as yet.
But plans for the future are big time, here on the farm, at least there is room for that here.
It was in MALCESINE, ITALY about 80 miles northeast of Milan.
