So what is Verizon?

Currently the second largest telecom company in the US consisting of Verizon land line and Verizon Wireless.

And what does it offer?

Verizon Online has teamed with Microsoft to bring you an Internet experience like no other - Verizon Broadband with Windows Live. It combines the speed of your broadband connection, with the latest content, applications and features from Verizon and Windows Live at no additional charge.


Can I keep my current email address?

Yes. Whether you have an existing Verizon Online, MSN or Hotmail email address, none of your email addresses will change.

I don't think this applies to optus, bigpond addresses though.
