Surely Travel is BIG!

Well I can't spend another post talking about cars, that would make me a car blogger and I don't really think that is representative of me.
You know all those jokes about politicians, lawyers and used car salesman, all fare poorly on the popularity polls so although I would see myself as a new car sales person I don't think I am well qualified nor do I ever have any wish to be described in such a way, I just like to move around a lot, you know me, fobzy the old B.....as they say in the best of British schools, and in my case it is actually true, although I am not old, that old is used in the nicest possible way from when one is about 17 in those very same best of British Schools.
There's money in education, you know, but that's not really my forte is it?
See how well my English is coming on now that I am being a writer. Although they think they've got a lien on writing around here, all too serious, if you ask me, after all most people can write, it's a minimum requirement of most of the educational establishments and some are doing it well at age 9.
Well, I am supposed to be writing about travel to-day, now surely travel is a good business to get into along with tourism.
So when you arrive in Sydney, here's just a token gesture of things that you must do.
Do get yourself one of those special travel pass thingies, and that will save you the embarrassment of digging too deeply into those short pockets that most of you have.
Of course if you can afford it climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a great way to almost get blown off the face of the earth, not by terrorists, so much, as by those strong harbour breezes and they say it's cold over here.
You couldn't do better than start with Sydney's wonderful Harbour and do take your camera with you and be prepared to move if you want to take good shots.
The Opera House is a marvellous starting point and you are not expected to actually go to the Opera, which they don't DO at the Opera House, considered not a suitable venue, something funny about that isn't there?
But the building is great and those big white sails fortunately don't come undone so there's no need to worry about getting lost in a storm although I think you may need to worry about the Manly ferry on a rough day, but we haven't mentioned Manly yet, have we?
When you get on the ferry to go to Manly find yourself a good spot on a not too crowded ferry and you'll be able to photograph the Bridge, the Opera House, Fort Dennison and on some days some great sailing.
Just remember that Syndey started out as a penal colony so watch your back and your dollar.
At Manly you can walk down the Corso to the main beach, and Australia is a land of beaches. Those long stretches of sandy shores and water stretching out to the horizon and waves breaking up as they come into shore.
At the same time you can soak up some of that golden sunshine. You'll need something to drink and there's always a pub conveniently located close by with the all time losers in full attendance so there's always someone to chat to about the local colours.
Well I think I've covered Sydney Harbour for you, but there will be lots of other occasions, I'm sure, I'm very fond of Sydney and have been there often.
I just wonder what Google will think of this little offering, sorry but I am not into cropping pictures, I guess I'll just have to earn a little less, which isn't a bad thing you can't get much less than nothing.
But, I am learning. And I love you ALL.

and Louie, yes, I pinched all those nice little pics, it seems like I'm becoming a bit light fingered now,
But no-one is letting on about what pays, except Jon, and Charles, cars, of course. And why not, good of them to tell us.
