Talking of Rolls Royce!
September 30th 2011 07:34
What a little beauty and what a fund raiser for the local Church.
£100 for a church development fund
that may not sound much but the church was grateful
The winner was Michael Broadbent, from Royston, South Yorkshire, with his 1934 Rolls-Royce 20/25. His prize was handed over by Fr Philip Chadwick.
Peter Uttley, a churchwarden at St Mary’s, Elland, is also the owner of a vintage gem – a classic Riley.
The show was organised by Roland Crosby, of Wakefield, secretary of the Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club
Nice little bit of information from the Halifax courier and a great picture.
