Have you heard of Skoda?

It's not a car you hear of often is it? But, rest assured Skoda has many fans.

A big plus is its safety record and the 2009 Skoda Superb got 5 stars at the safety tests from Euro-NCAP, getting 35 points at adult protection and 40 for child protection. What’s special about it and the reason behind the high score is the knee airbags.

I understand it does have a great following, I knew someone once who owned one. He loved it even though they were not well known at the time.
