Is it Recession? is Google changing? or is it both?

Sebastian Fobbs here.
In view of the fantastic response I had to my post yesterday I can only assume that I was right and the earnings have plummetted in March.
Now, something interesting I noticed is that as soon as I put the post on there were some lovely ads, be it but those little ones, not the lovely floating picture ads ( now you see it, now you don't tricksters) of vintage cars, modern cars and collectible dolls. They looked really good.
But now, on the same post, it is back to those dreary little promise nothing and deliver less work at home junky, spammy ads, designed to con you out of your money.
So, do you never question just what you are doing working for cents? if any cents at all? providing Google with a huge data base of your work and mine, and his and hers, and Google picking up the earnings before paying out our pittances, once you reach $100 of course.
I heard yet another rumour of someone who was expecting his/her earnings to go up when in fact they went savagely the other way.
So is the BYO party over, is it just the few who are receiving anything much at all?
Of course, only the few are brave enough to say they at least expected to be paid initially, even though those expectations have been considerably modified.
I remember the shock I felt on learning of others being paid in cents. I thought slavery was abolished years ago.
My sources tell me they have seen ups and downs before but never this bad.
So what is going on. Is the internet being thrown aside in the advertising budgets, or is Google arranging things to better suit itself and at its own time and pace.
Bloggers will continue, this I know, anything to have their name up in lights, poor things, but as to the future your guess is as good as mine.
My sources also tell me of the one doing really well and that from day one is to do with the AFL. Can the rest of us go to Hell, only if you're a believer, of course.
So, I wonder what we'll attract today and for how long and in any way long enough to get even one response.
It's an interesting puzzle, if nothing else.
