Well that is good advice for all businesses running a blog but unless I can classify my blog as a business I'm not going to do too well, especially as my advertising budget is about as big as my earnings are, and I'm still plagued by those pesky little adsense ads when I really want only top $ ones, and I have grave suspicions about some of those little suggestions, it's we'll take your money but keep it a secret that it'll be a long time before you receive any of ours.
However, I am heartened by the posts that have attracted a better calibre of advertiser and what I need to work at is getting the backlinks as I've already suggested to you.
But it pays to move in the right circles and some really good references will not do any harm.
Food was good and Forbes and now let's try something else.
How about collectibles and rare books, but maybe we'd do better with vintage cars, they attract a lot of attention, but not as much as new cars but we'll do those another day.
How about Sotheby's, that's bound to bring in a bob or two but I doubt whether they'd be reading my blog or more especially this post. But the search engines might and ebay from which we've had no response as yet.
Now Ebay sells lots of collectibles but not really in the Sotheby's class, but none the less they do sell some very rare types of articles and many are surely collectibles.
But we don't want to get bogged down with too many products so we'll just stick with suggestions at this stage and see where it goes from there.
It is quite exciting when I do see some interesting ads come up, be they but of the miniscule class at this stage, and I'm looking ahead to the future for my publicity business.
What I need to do is to establish myself.
So do come and see old fobzy and see what money making little schemes we can come up with, but not working from home, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
