Rather a refined looking beast, don't you think?
Nice colour, it doesn't smack you in the face like some do.
Porsche decided to come out with a four seater wanting to compete with the likes of Audi A8, BMW’s 7 Series and Mercedes S class. They wanted to wipe out all opposition.
Porsche claims the exterior is distinctive. The side view shows that the fenders are a little higher than the hood, and at the rear, they are very strong. Some others state the headlights; grill and hood were taken from the 911. Styling is definitely taken from images seen in at least two Porsches. With Porsche’s first four seater and the desire for best in performance their designers came up what would first allow for performance.
However, Automobile Magazine and other buff magazines don’t like the exterior looks. The Porsche Panamera was designed to go faster than the BMW 760Li or the Mercedes Benz S63 AMG or any other luxury sedans.
So it seems they have incited some controversy with their aspirations, but I think this picture is cool, don't you?
