I was reading a detective story about the corruption in politics ( fiction, of course) and a wealthy lawyer had one of these.
Trouble is it was his Achilles heal and his Porsche undoubtedly came with a range of very expensive extras but his love was to burn the tyres, breaking the speed limit of course, obviously his form of extreme sports, but he went off course and twisted his very expensive car around a telegraph post taking both himself and his Porsche out of existence.
It was quite a story so beware all of you guys out there whose loins come on fire at the very mention of such vehicles.
Human error leads to quite some follies it always seems especially where speeding is concerned.
But the descriptions in the book of his car, the love of his life, despite the fact of having a wife and family bring forth all the hottest desires in a fellow who lusts after a classy speedster and I'm sure many of you will have the hots for this one.
The Porsche Carrera GT is a supercar, manufactured by Porsche of Germany. The Carrera GT is powered by an all-new 5.7 litre V10 engine producing 612 SAE horsepower (450 kW). Porsche claims it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62.5 mph) in 3.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 330 km/h (206 mph), although road tests indicated that in actuality the car could accelerate from 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds and to 0-100 in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 335-340km/h (209-212.5mph).
So lust no more lest you clean yourself up and out around some unsuspecting telephone pole. Don't say you haven't been warned but you may have more self control than the character in the book ( and yes, surprise, surprise, the old fobzy can most certainly read, I'd have to have learned at least that much at the expensive school I attended, despite not having a father and a very talented mother who defied description at what many others would describe as an unsurmountable obstacle, and she still gets away with it).
Anyway I guess that's immaterial here where all we seek to do is present some cars and especially often the very expensive ones which all men seem to adore.
