The new Mustang has more power, an improved interior, and an engine that roars. It costs less than the Camaro (and less than the Dodge Challenger, the other new muscle car on the market). But the Camaro has styling and outsold the Mustang this summer. Time for an old-fashioned Detroit showdown next year for the title of America's No. 1 muscle car?
The front seats in the GT are well pumped up and comfortable. Soft lighting glows inside and Mustang logos on the doorsills light up at night. However, knee and head space in the rear seats is confined.
But this red one should get your blood flowing in your arteries, who can resist this animal instinct arrousing colour?
Safety
The Mustang comes with front and side airbags, antilock brakes, and stability and traction control. It earned the top Five Star rating in all categories in government crash tests.
