You've got it, what could it possibly be but our ever popular......and this one is black.
It is not so very old but it has been owned by actor James Coburn for 25 years.
I don't want to give the make away in the introduction, although many will have guessed it by now.
This is a market that's going well and strong despite those dastardly days of Recession.
There's always those who are willing to dig deep into their gold lined pockets, it's just a pity mine were not made that way, although there is a lot of money in the family, mostly tied up in the estate and real estate investments.
I can just imagine mother's face if I were to suggest buying such a 'thing" as this. Ah, those halcyon days of summer and riding around in this nifty little speedster.
Canadian auction house RM Auctions, worked with Sotheby’s in Maranello to set a new world record for the most expensive vintage car sold. $10,894,400 was the winning bid. The car? A 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyer
Could it possibly have been anything else?
