A Mitzuoka Himiko, a folding hardtop roadster built on a Mazda MX-5 frame, is seen on display at the Beijing Auto Show 2010 in Beijing, China, 24 April 2010. Chinese and global car makers will promote almost 1,000 models as visitors flock to the biggest auto show in the worlds largest market from 25 April. The car firms are excited by statistics showing that Chinas 1.3 billion people still own just a few dozen vehicles per 1,000 people, compared with more than 500 cars per 1,000 people in many developed nations.
