Notable Innovations: The car is a continuation of a new goal at Hyundai: Moving upscale with its sedans. Its award-winning Genesis sedan was the foundation for this large, luxury-type sedan (rumored to be a full inch wider than the Lexus LS and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class). It'll have a navigation system and central control device derived from the Genesis, with heated and cooled front seats, wood accents and a "sport" mode.


Engine: 368-horsepower 4.6-liter Lambda V8

MSRP: $50,000 estimated
