fobzy starts his journey into heritage cars.

Now that's what I call a nice little sports model, and it's the right colour too.
It is not so very old and has a beautiful line, and I can just picture myself taking a spin in it.
Of course, these heritage cars are not so pricey nor so valuable as vintage cars but I am just starting out on my journey of discovery.
When I do my early morning trip around the farm I'll keep my eyes open for a suitable strip of fairly barren ground on which a large show area could be constructed, but this will be a long term project not a short term one.
And I'll be looking for as much feedback as possible from my readers who are interested in such things.
Of course, I need some land to set aside for my horse breeding activities, but I am a very long way away from getting that venture off the ground.
Mother and I always talk together as we eat our breakfast, a fine repast prepared by our cook and keen as Mother is for me to keep up with the local news, reading the paper with breakfast is strictly forbidden, that time is for talk and I have to do my reading afterwards, generally before I take my daily sojourn around the farm.
I raised the car collection idea, Mother is as keen as punch on collectibles, but of the fine arts and crockery kind and all the warning bells of alarm registered on her face as I mentioned cars, so I let that one slide, and I'll bring it up at some other time and place.
The next car that interests me is a Buick Blackhawk and I've pictured it below. It's not that I'm intending to acquire any of these just yet but it's a journey of discovery which has to start somewhere.
This one is more curvaceous and cuddly and there appears to be quite a lot of room to move, I also like that deep maroon.
Next up is an older type of car, it's very open and one can inagine the breeze flying through the hair as the speed picks up.
Such experiences are refreshing and exhilarating and make a man feel a real man, when we are all too often being "feminized" into SNAGS not a description I like too much.
It's a pity that we no longer respect the man's role and around here he is described as something of a plaything just standing idly by to attend to her erotic fantasies, when fatasies are just that, a creation of the mind, not to be taken too seriously.
Such attitudes are fraught with difficulty and the females generally end up with real losers.
Oh, well, it's their life to destroy if that is the way they want it.
But cars, now there's a real man's hobby for you.
This green car, an open high off the road sports, for its era, is a Lagonda in a British racing green.
And now I have found a lot of others but it is one thing at a time.
Not too much complexity for the semi-feeble minded fobzy.
And the last two here are Volvos, pictured together is some sort of advertising flyer, but it does give a chance to compare a couple.
My choice today is the merc of course, but the others all have their own appeal.
I wonder which one you like best?

The green Lagonda that you say isn't , well perhaps I read the label wrongly. But let's not squabble over that when we both love cars, at heart.
I'll be happy to see you again and I'll tootle over to pay you a visit shortly.
Maybe I need to do some work on what the definitions of vintage, heritage cars are.
Stay for the ride, won't you, after all this is just a simple little blog, not very important in the overall scheme of things.
