FOB - to do with shipping - what gives?
March 27th 2008 08:09
Free on Board, means the seller picks up with the shipping costs.
Now rumour has it that this pays well, let's see what we produce here.
Don't you love it when they say, free shipping charges and then the thing arrives via the internet, who are they kidding ( nothing to do with goats) another friendly scammer who'll take your money, rip you off and proudly boast that what they send is FOB and still I have those pesky ( to quote from the current Orble vernacular) little ads on my blog, no doubt FOB.
But there are plenty of genuine sellers who do in fact sell things FOB and those FOB arrangements are apparently very attractive to advertisers, I can't think why, especially in relation to food.
So will the great Google recognise the FOB acronym or will they think it is my name, please note my name and it starts FOB, I think that's rather cool for free shipping, don't you?
Now how many more words must I put in to make this a favoured post by advertisers, I really need not worry much it seems you need a lot of backlinks to make it worth yours and their while.
But it is at the shipper's cost and therefore comes under the FOB guidelines. And I think I'll have to settle for more not less unless quoting the movies might help.
So it's FOB for me and FOB for you and FOB for all the other buyers, well those who have been quoted FOB in the price they are paying.
It gets to be quite exciting this publicity thing if only for a short while until all the nasties start emerging again. I hate to be using my time to sponsor such things which don't even do anything for me.
Until the next post then it's Sebastian Fobbs, signing off, aka fobzy
