fobzy MUST learn to ride a horse.

Everything has been going so well lately, I've my short list ready with the three finalists for my new bride. Mother has checked out the fertility stats, family backgrounds etc ( I've yet to find out how she describes my parentage ) and is pleased with my final three choices, and I am too, incidentally, so it is all rather a relief.
It was over breakfast, this morning, that Mother made the announcement.
"Sebastian", she never calls me fobzy, of course, "you must learn to ride"
I sat there holding my breathe for a moment, thinking to myself, "but I already know how and I do it extremely well", but wary of being unduly provocative I just sat with bated breathe wondering what Mother's next line would be.
Then she mentioned horses and I let out a sigh of relief and overcame my temerity sufficiently enough to express my opposition to such a suggestion.
Unfortunately, Mother is a superb horsewoman and has won many competitions for her riding skills.
I mumbled about not having suitable attire. She said a complete outfit would be sent from a very exclusive shop and I should not be deterred by that.
My first lesson was that very afternoon, and all the possible objections I could raise disappeared rather more quickly than some freshly odiferous manure, deposited all too frequently by such animals.
My instructor got straight on with it, observing that I was not really a natural, I could have told him that at far less than half the price he was about to receive.
Well the muscle pains are just starting to set in and I was so glad I did not have any social engagements this evening, I really think I shall be hitting the sack early to-night.
All of this happened at the same time I was carrying out my daily farm duties and I was just starting to feel cosy, I just can't help wondering what Mother will think up next.
You all know how much I love horses, but riding them myself was never on my agenda.
I'm a racing man myself, and love to have a bit of a bet, but since my somewhat destructive little gambling addiction made quite a large contribution to the fall in wealth of the overall estate, such forays into the betting stakes have been strictly forbidden, which is rather regrettable as it was all so much fun.
Despite my initial introduction to riding I still love the horses and one day hope to have my own stables.
But for the time being Mother is more interested in horsepower of the natural kind rather than the horsepower under a car bonnet, which horses I am also interested in, but Mother is delving into the world of the 'natural' for the sake of the environment and woe betide me if I dare to disagree.
The sooner I am married and producing heirs and fond granchildren for mother the better if you ask me. Riding a horse is really no substitute.

But, I have my no. 1 choice in mind, but I must play the game a little longer but it will happen very soon, let me assure you.
I just hope she does not reject me, but money talks, you know.
