Flying Scotsman rally
April 5th 2011 03:18
Millions of pounds worth of vintage cars pulled into a Carlisle hotel to break off from the Flying Scotsman London to Edinburgh rally.
The Flying Scotsman is the longest British rally for pre-war cars.
Entries came from as far away as America and Australia.
The oldest car in this year’s race was a 1909 La France, and the most popular were Bentleys and Aston Martins.
A supercharged Alfa Romeo Zagato was among the rarities.
