This is the tow truck that youngsters who visit this weekend’s Apple Festival will be able to learn about and sit in during the two-day Touch-A-Truck event. Curreri Collision of 1260 Hartford Avenue in Johnston will supply the truck and is also sponsoring the Classic Car Show.

Between 80 and 100 cars are expected
Judging for the show will be unique.
Touch-A-Truck event will be both educational and recreational and give youngsters an opportunity to sit in different trucks, try on such things as firemen’s boots and even go into the back of an ambulance to see where paramedics treat patients en route to a hospital.
The Scituate Fire Department will provide a fire truck while Baccala Concrete of Johnston is sending a cement mixer truck. Rambone & Sprague will provide an oil truck for the event.
