The 2010 Audi R8
December 13th 2009 03:17
Ah, at last we have our fiery red, bound to set any man on fire.
How is it that the dull greys and the dark greys are having such a hay day!
I like a bit of colour myself, after all, these are cars we're talking about not bales of hay, much as I love them, being a farmer.
But this latest Audi should satisfy many a lusty male, trying to prove himself with his wheels.
Nice steering wheel too.
The 2010 Audi R8 is unique in the Audi portfolio and is hand-assembled at a maximum of 20 cars per day.
It's set wide and low to the ground for speed stability.
Option of a 4.2 FSI V8 engine or an even more powerful 5.2 FSI V10
The lightweight Audi Space Frame (ASF) is made almost entirely of aluminum, with the exception of one item made from an even more exotic material, magnesium. The entire frame weighs just 463 pounds, making it lighter than most motorcycles.
But it is not lacking in strength and rigidity.
So if you're wanting to impress, put this high on the list and you can talk about it intelligently without boasting, putting you in the elite class too.
Happy motoring and watch your brakes.
