A new car called the Tata Nano unveiled by an Indian company, is reviled by environmentalists as disastrous for global warming.
It gets about 50 miles per gallon.
But the usual fuel, and as cars go, this is about as cheap as it gets.
But the environmentalists will stop at nothing short of Green, green, green, despite the small size of some people's pockets.
It costs only about $2,500 and will bring car ownership within reach of millions of new people in the developing world
And if you really want to go green try this for size

The Kulla is a 2-seater pure electric vehicle with a maximum running distance of 140km on a single charge
