Do you know what it is?
Why it's an Austin Seven Chummy Open Tourer Small Vintage British Car 1929
Trust the old fobzy to select an open little sports, it was only delivered yesterday and I haven't had a chance to take it for a run. I wonder how it works and mostly I wonder if the silly old fobzy will know how to do it.
These old collectibles don't work in the same way as modern cars and they haven't even heard of automatic, I guess the secret will be to just gentle it along. I just can't wait, surely I'm entitled to a bit of time to myself, what with the new baby and everything and it'll be a surprise for Mother should she be able to take her mind off babies and horses for a few minutes. Perhaps she'll bridle a bit when she gets the bill, well, she wants to control the money, while I'm doing all the work and anything to keep me away from the gambling tables.
But, honest to goodnes that little Charlie has the most powerful lungs and he's a real guzzler, takes after his dad that way I think, I always was a breast man and the little lad seems to be too.
Well, now that the little chap has stopped yelling and been fed, I'm going off to bed, on my own of course, Nanny runs everything around here at the moment. Well, whatever makes Mary happy, those girls do deserve a medal for what they go through, bear that in mind the car buffs amongst you who take the good little woman for granted. Life is a serious business, you know, it's not just about the pleasures of the flesh, and we do pay the penalty, just make sure it's not the little woman and the kids who do all the suffering, won't you.
But, just for now, it's time out for cars and this one is bound to excite, I feel my own excitement spreading right around the globe, funny little thing this blogging, isn't it?
Well, for now it's off to bed, for some well deserved shut eye.
Until next time, then.
