Cars - Cars - Cars -what's your fancy?

I think everyone likes cars, fobzy certainly does. I'm wondering when I do take over the family farm if Mother will allow me to have my very own vehicle rather than borrowing one of hers, mind you she has ample, a small fleet so to speak.
Men especially love their vehicles, not to say that women don't but a vehicle affects a man's pride, some say it's a substitution but I certainly do not have that particular need.
I know the environment is important but I wonder if these hybrid cars are going to do as much for us.
Apart from having a smart new vehicle which is the envy of others, I really do like the idea of collecting vintage and classic cars and I do like looking at these and going to some of the various meets and exhibitions, yes, you've got me, it's fobzy for the good life and that includes the real horsepower of the races but that you already know.
What would you choose, if money were no object for your special vehicle, I like a Rolls, which makes me a little old fashioned nowadays I know.
However if it's just a trip out to the movies or other local venue and without having a need to impress anyone one of the smaller runabouts would do so nicely, they all have those lovely shiny exteriors and quite a range of colours but I notice that not too many are adventurous in that way.
I guess if you've chosen a way out colour such as bright green or orange you are rather stuck with it. These would be particularly attractive for those with a flamboyant nature.
Actually I am partial to red sportsters but they seem to be selfish little vehicles and the four wheel drive is so much more useful, even though all your neighbours will hate you, especially in the city of Sydney I've noticed.
But for the time being it's hire cars and taxis for me, it will be a lot different when I get home, but I'm only going back for two weeks and I guess for that short time I'll be happy to draw on the family fleet.
It won't be long before Mother will expect me back again and things should then start to heat up especially if I'm to be married by the end of the year.
