Kevin and Aisling Cunningham peer into a 1935 Austin 10
Fordson tractors and classic convertibles
but that's not all, no indeed, these meets are often more than you think
30 dogs which were taking part in the inaugural Athea Dog Show stole everyone’s imagination. It was a quirky end to a hectic festival summer in the West Limerick border country.
Nothing like a terrier on the prowl is there? does this mean these meets are going to the dogs?
I doubt that, but vintage cars are great for family outings whether you've got enough dough in the pocket to get one, or not.
the vintage rally drew visitors “from far and wide”.
best vintage car was won by Mike Reidy from Adare for his 1935 Austin 10. The best tractor prize went to Mike Davy from Knock, county Clare, while Bobby O’Connor from Abbeyfeale won best classic motorcycle
And the best dog went to a red setter, that should please everyone
Fobzy that's me, the simple farmer who just loves his cars, his dogs and his family
Not much up top does not lead to the end of the road.
In fact, it's probably more fun! but don't tell Mother will you, she always despairs at how dumb I am but not me, oh, no, indeed no!
