Aston fast - but still not as quick as McLaren F1

January 2nd 2010 22:08

Aston fast cars

Aston's outrageous One-77 has just managed a rather nippy 220.007mph at a high-speed test track in Europe.
The £1.2m supercar is aiming to be the fastest British marque sports car ever - it's already the most expensive.

It still has a way to go because McLaren's F1 did 242mph-point-something in the early 1990s and that's a lot faster.
