A Rolls? in China?
May 5th 2010 09:32
Yes, I heard from a very reliable source, and apparently it's no secret anyway, but our thoroughly British Rolls, although who knows nowadays who makes it, maybe it's the Germans or the Sri Lankans, your guess is as good as mine.
Ah, but its origins are definitely British, as British as Her Majesty or the famed UK bulldog.
But, bless me, it has ended up (on display, of course) in China.
Just goes to show where the money is now.
It's the Rolls-Royce Ghost deliveries of Ghost within days of Auto China to Chinese customers. It's all about money, not the Queen and Country as the old saying goes.
Things are just NOT what they used to be.
Rolls-Royce Shanghai was again one of the top 10 performing dealerships last year, having consistently featured in the top 10 since 2007.
There are now more dealers in China than in any other country except the USA.
And it's my very own car down here on the farm, as all of you know.
Well, this is one farm that the Chinese will not be having.
Business just has no morals, as well we all know. It's big bucks or should I say Asian dollars that's the thing.
The filthy rich!
The inside looks good too!
