2011 World Car of the Year Award
April 24th 2011 04:58
Well, that's not really a surprise, is it?
“This accolade recognizes Nissan LEAF, a pioneer in zero-emission mobility, as comparable in its driving performance, quietness and superb handling to gas-powered cars. It validates Nissan’s clear vision and the values of sustainable mobility that we want to offer to customers around the world.” said Carlos Ghosn, Nissan Chairman and CEO.
5-seater, 5-door zero-emission Nissan Leaf won as it is the world’s first purposefully built, mass market electric car to ever show real potential.
that's quite an accolade isn't it?
